One of the primary reasons for many deaths is unavailability of blood during emergencies. Keeping this in mind, NSS IITH organizes frequent blood donation camps to play its part in minimizing casualties. Many students and faculty participate in this activity, thereby contributing to the nation as its responsible citizens. This event is usually conducted on major days like Independence day, Republic day, etc.
